Stunning and good location on Tintern outskirts, easy to get anywhere. Also - near local activities, river and hills and the old railway station. Gorgeous & delightful rooms with shower instead of a bath, a beautiful view, as for instance.

It was a lovely old and exceptionally comfortable hotel in a lovely peaceful area, close enough to a lovely peaceful area and the beautiful surroundings of Tintern and delightful walking distance around the bend of the river. Stunning and amazing location - within a walking distance of everywhere we needed.

The decor in Tintern Old Rectory is just lovely, with its vintage style and thoughtful furnishings. As a senior woman, I appreciate the effort put into creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with direct outside access to the gardens and beyond. It was nice to be able to relax and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the surroundings.
I would have liked the staff to be a bit more attentive. Although the children working there were polite, it would have been nice to receive more personalized service, especially as a senior guest.

Small friendly and run by a couple who are a mine of information about the area. Breakfast was fantastic and very generous. Room was clean and comfortable although a little warm for me, but suited my husband. We would recommend this as a great place to stay if you want to explore the area

I had a wonderful stay at the Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts, Anika and Ian, were incredibly helpful and friendly. I particularly loved being able to fill up my water container with fresh spring water, which made for a delightful cup of tea each morning. I highly recommend this charming B&B.

Lovely cosy welcoming B&B - beautifully decorated quirky old room with good sized bathroom, warm, clean and peaceful. Our room was at the back and had a door that opened onto a small patio, and was a good size. I think the rooms at the front probably have a great view over the river, but for us, our room was perfect - peaceful and quiet. We got the view at breakfast anyway. The breakfast was great - large selection to choose from, and an excellent perfectly cooked English breakfast.
Everything was perfect for us.

We had a warm welcome from the friendly owners and their adorable dogs. The location in the beautiful village of Tintern was breathtaking. Our room had a stunning view of the river Wye and rolling hills. The breakfast, with delicious smoked salmon, frittata, and homemade jams, was a real treat. we highly recommend staying at this charming old home.
